Statement
Shawn Saharko's work is based in portraiture with a subtle surreal aesthetic, pushing realism and a loose, painterly approach. Shawn is inspired by the mediums he uses, primarily oil paint and likes to produce colorful expressive compositions using the figure. His attraction to the portrait and the figure is simply what energizes him to keep painting.
